To my birthday boy
Five seems such a significant age. You’re a schoolboy now, full of personality and opinions. To me, it seems like such a short time ago that we brought you home from the hospital. To you, it was a lifetime ago.
I look at you and can’t believe how you’ve grown. Sometimes I still expect to see that little baby or the toddler you so recently were. But you’re too busy showing me how you can ride your bike without stabilizers to notice.
This year we said goodbye to Octonauts and Thomas the Tank Engine and hello to Beyblades and Skylanders. When we play board games now, we use the real rules, and you no longer win just because I let you.
Happy birthday my little man. I can’t wait to see what fun five brings to us.
Happy birthday little man xxx
Thanks Julie.
Aw happy birthday to him I hope he had a great day, it always amazes me how quick they grow up but they will always be babies to us 🙂

He really enjoyed it. Thanks Sara.
Younguns are lovely MOST of the time. Then there are the times where they craze us. That’s what I blog on!
Belated happy birthday to the big man. Five is a beautiful age.

Since he was born I feel like every age has been my favourite. There’s something wonderful about each different stage.
My twins will be 5 next month. I’m going through this too at the moment. sniff*
