Loving the lovebomb!

Loving the lovebomb!

A couple of days ago, I posted about Little Man’s separation anxiety as a result of the “kitchen door incident”. My Internet search for a quick fix suggested lovebombing Little Man to help him over his anxiety. As it turns out, that’s just a fancy way of saying “spoil him for a day”.

So for 24 hours, we reassured him, and paid him extra attention. And boy has it paid off! Immediately on Sunday night we saw an improvement. He slept right through the night. I was worried that once we started to get back to normal, the effects would wear off. But last night he did the same! Even putting him down to bed has gone back to being an enjoyable part of the day. It’s such a relief.

So a big thumbs up from us for the 24 hour lovebomb as a solution for separation anxiety!

Welcome back happy Little Man!
