Cycling for Haiti!
Little Man and I are very proud of Charlie this weekend. He is taking part in a two-day cycle from Dublin to Galway as part of a Cycle4Haiti fundraiser. This is even more impressive when you realise that Charlie only started training for this a month ago. Forget Couch to 5K – this is Couch to 226K!
Check out the route – that’s a lot of cycling, isn’t it?
If you’re near the route at any stage over the weekend, why not get out and cheer them on? Don’t worry if you can’t – you can still show your support, if you wish to make a donation.

*****************************
Update: They did it! At 4pm this afternoon, the Cycle4Haiti group made it to Galway, having completed the two-day cycle from Dublin. Well done everyone!
Wow! Best of luck, Tell him to strap a cushion to the bicycle saddle.
I think he invested in some padded shorts for the occasion!
Brilliant! Well done Charlie!
Wow, that is an epic bike ride! I hope everyone has a fun and safe trip.
Let us know how it went.
Lisa, do you know how many went on the trip?
Kindly,
Monica Rose
Hi Monica,
I’m not sure exactly how many people did it. I think there might have been as many as 150.
They arrived in Galway at about 4pm this afternoon, and Charlie reported back that it was a great cycle!
