Wednesday Window: Making time
Time. What to do with it? How to make the most of it? Where to find it? It’s one of the things I puzzle over when I look back at life before Little Man. How did I not realise I had so much spare time? And what on earth did I spend my time on?! It’s a mystery, because I remember being busy before too. But looking back now, it seems like it was a whole different level of busy.
Routine is everything to us these days to keep things ticking over. It ensures there’s laundry done every day, and dinner planned for each evening, and time set aside for stories at bedtime. It’s even what allowed me to make time for blogging. (Of course, an hour of TV had to go to facilitate that!)
And as you may know, for the past few weeks, I’ve been trying to make time for exercise in the routine. Just 30 minutes a day. I’m pleased to say that I’m managing it everyday except Friday which is red wine rest day. 🙂
But it’s taking me a while to figure out where to fit everything else in around it – hence the reduced levels of blogging. I’m sure I’ll figure it out though in the coming weeks. All I need is a little time!!!
I’ve come to accept that I’ll never be wordless and I’ll never manage a true Wordless Wednesday post, so I’ve introduced my Wednesday Window posts instead. Wednesday Window offers a little snapshot of life in our house this week. The post contains a photo or photos taken this week and a sentence or three about it! If you have a Wednesday Window of your own that you’d like to share, be sure to leave a link in the comments below.
I know what you mean about trying to fit it all in…. I think I need another 4 or 5 hours in each day!! 😉
