Two for the zoo!
What a great day today! Little Man and I were up bright and early today (a little earlier than I was hoping to be honest, but I guess two lie-ins in a row is a bit much to ask for!). We packed up our bags and headed to Dublin Zoo to meet Aine from Andmybaby and her son Little M.
The weather wasn’t great – a bit cold and overcast. But the rain held off, and sure if we were waiting for sunshine we’d never leave the house.
We were so glad we went – what a great morning. We started our day in the Family Farm – on the huge wooden tractor slide of course! And then we meandered through the zoo following whichever path the boys preferred.
The highlight of the day for the boys was the Elephant House, without a doubt! We watched all of the elephants eating their breakfast, and Little Man was so fascinated we had to tempt him to leave with promises of stones to play with outside. After all everyone knows the only thing that trumps baby elephants is stones! If you’re an almost two year old boy that is!
Thanks Aine and Little M. for a fantastic trip to the zoo!
