Let it snow!

I’ve been dreading snow this year. After getting snowed in for weeks on end in the run up to Christmas last year, I’ve been so happy this year to see the misty rain and the accompanying mild temperatures.

Still though…Little Man’s at a perfect age for having some real fun in the snow. It would be a shame not to see his reaction to it. So when Charlie’s boss offered to loan him a snow machine this week, we jumped at the chance to borrow it.

Let it snow!

To be honest, it’s like the ultimate bubble machine. It pumps out foamy sudsy snow. You couldn’t ski on it or even make a snowball with it – but it definitely looks the part!

So we dressed Little Man up in the fantastic waterproof dungarees that we bought at the Rainbusters stand at The Toy Show recently, and we popped on his wellies and his Bob the Builder jacket (because you can’t go anywhere without “my Bob coat” don’t you know!), and off we went outside.

It took about two minutes to cover our tiny backyard in “snow”. And it was great fun! If you ever get a chance to try one of these out for yourself, I recommend you jump at it! I must admit, I’ll be sad to give it back!
