Choo Choo!
Yesterday, I mentioned that we spent the day at the Irish Steam Rally. But other than telling you that it was on, I didn’t really say much about what we did there.
Well for starters, we met Áine and Little M from AndMyBaby! Áine and I “met” through our blogs, but we’d never actually met in real life before yesterday. Turns out we have more in common than toddler boys and an interest in blogging. We’re both originally from the same part of Ireland, we went to the same college (different years), and we majored in the same subject there. And Áine is very good friends with my first cousin (who also joined us for the day out at the Steam Rally). Forget six degrees of separation! You’ve gotta love Ireland with our “one degree of separation”! Such a small world! 🙂
And as for the Steam Rally itself, well I think the photos tell a better story of our day than I could.
Well we saw some Steam Engines!
But this was the real attraction of the day...

Little Man loved it! So much so, I think we were on it SIX times! Whhhheeeeeee!
He also quite enjoyed the Tea Cups, the little adrenalin junkie!
And to top it all off, some ice cream! Yum yum!
So did Little Man enjoy the day? You tell me! Look at that face!

Someone had to take the photos! And you know how Charlie feels about rollercoasters of any kind – even baby ones! I think he was happy to sit it out!

I was thinking the same thing when I was writing this post. Definitely should have taken a photo together. How is Little M’s nose after his big fall? Hope he’s all recovered.
