All fall down!

Our Internet connection has been down for most of the day, and only seems to be staying up for a half hour or so at a time. So I’m postponing my planned post (a photographic walkthrough of how to make my favourite Banana Bread recipe – yummy!) until it’s a bit more reliable.

Instead I thought I’d keep this short and sweet and just share with you a little vignette from our day.

Little Man has been getting so excited about nursery rhymes lately – especially if they have actions to accompany them. Last weekend, our friends gave him a lovely gift of a VTech Nursery Rhymes book. When you open each page, the book sings the first few lines of the rhyme. Little Man has been having great fun doing his actions for Twinkle Twinkle Little Star while the book sings the song.

Another favourite of his from the book is Ring a Ring o’ Roses. He bobs his head along to the music. This weekend we taught him how to dance along to it. He was laughing yesterday when his Nana danced with him, but today he really got into it and was dragging me by the hands to spin in circles, around and around and around, until the best bit…all fall DOWN!!! I’m still dizzy from it!
