A Day Out at the Farm
Little Man is finally better and ready to have fun. Mostly he wants to explore the great outdoors. So we bought him a pair of wellies, perfect for puddles! And yesterday we took him to Newbridge House and Park. This is one of my favourite places to visit. It has one of the biggest playgrounds around – but the playground wasn’t our destination yesterday. Instead we made our way to the pet farm.

Little Man was a bit apprehensive about walking in his new wellies – I guess they felt a bit strange on his feet. For once, he was happy to hold my hand while walking!
- He quickly got the hang of walking in the wellies though, and then he had to check everything out. He could hardly decide what to look at next.
All animals bite!
Of course you have to be very careful on the farm, because you know all animals bite! Certainly this goat looked like he was checking us out. The selection of animals on the farm was great – pigs and sheep, goats, pheasants, chickens, donkeys, ponies, and cows.
Sometimes you need a better view!
And sometimes you need Daddy to pick you up so that you can get a good view of everything!
