Sixteen weeks old

Sixteen weeks old

I’m very late with this baby journal entry! It’s almost time for the next one. In my defense though, the sun was shining and as anyone who has ever “summered” in Ireland knows, that’s a rare event, and one that must be taken advantage of for as long as it lasts.

Alas the sun is gone again now, so I’m far less distracted this week. 🙂

The week leading up to turning sixteen weeks old was all about toes. Little Woman discovered her feet at the beginning of this week and spent the whole week perfecting the art of grabbing them.

In fact, she seemed to enjoy grabbing her feet so much that all the attempts to roll over from the previous week were forgotten. I’d say she only rolled two or three times in the whole week. She was far too busy trying to catch her toes instead.

Sleep was very hit and miss this week. I’m blaming the heat but who knows. It could be all the excitement with her toes as well! There was at least one extra feed than usual each night. But the nights were so warm I’m sure that was partly thirst.

Thankfully I was at home visiting my parents for the week so there were lots of extra helping hands around when I was feeling tired from the broken sleep.
