Procrastination as an art form

Procrastination as an art form

I’ve often thought that it seems to take us forever to get anything done in this house. And today, I had undeniable proof of that.

You see we finally got around to framing and hanging a poster that we picked up when we went to see Dave Matthews Band in concert. We’ve been putting it off for a while, mentioning every now and again that “we really must get a frame for that”, and then never doing anything about it.

While we were at IKEA picking up storage boxes for our new toy solution in the sitting room, I spotted their frames section and for once I actually remembered the poster. This afternoon I framed it and hung it, and as I stood back to admire my handywork, one little detail jumped out at me.

“09/03/10”

2010. Two years ago this week. Ah yes, it seems we take our procrastination very seriously around here. 🙂

Check out the date...oh dear!
