Mickey ‘n Friends My First Ride On

Mickey ‘n Friends My First Ride On

For his first birthday, Little Man’s aunt and uncle bought him a Mickey ‘n Friends My First Ride On. I thought it would take him a while to get used to it because he wasn’t walking yet when it arrived. But even then he was able to climb on and play. At first he could only push himself backwards, but it didn’t take long to get some forward motion. This video is one I took a week or two after he got it, just after he learned to go forwards: Look at him go!

The Ride On has a (loud!) horn and lots of little gadgets to play with. There are knobs to twist and keys to turn and buttons to press! There’s even a little phone that sits on the front. Little Man loves to pick it up and babble into it.

While he was learning to walk, Little Man used to stand behind the Ride On and push it along. From a safety point of view, this toy is well-designed as a push along. It’s got a piece at the bottom to stabilise it and prevent it from tipping over when baby leans too hard on the back of it while learning to walk.

And it boasts some hidden surprises too! You never know who you might find hitching a ride if you open up the seat and take a peak!

Why hello there James!
