Manicure for mammies

Manicure for mammies

One thing I had never considered before my little man was born was the toll he would take on my hands. All those nappy changes and all that hand washing destroyed my hands. The skin was dry and cracked and my nails were awful. Forget nail polish – it would be chipped before the day was out. Until I discovered the three week manicure at Nails Inc.  It takes about forty minutes for the nail technician to work her magic – a manageable amount of time for even the most stressed new mammy. And the end result is so worth it. My nails look fantastic with the pink french manicure. Shiny and healthy. The rest of me may be disheveled and sleep deprived but my nails are 100% yummy mummy.

And the best thing is no chips, and all that hand washing doesn’t affect them. I don’t quite get the three weeks out of the manicure, but to be fair, I think that’s because I don’t get time to maintain them. I definitely recommend this manicure as a special gift or a little pick me up for any new mammy.

  1. +1 here! My hands are DESTROYED since the baby arrived. I didn’t cotton on to the three week manicure until he was six months and wish I had before. Even when it’s been days since you’ve washed your hair and you’re covered in puke, you still feel great with the lovely nails. Effortless 😉

    • I agree! Though I must admit that after having it done quite a few times, my nails are noticeably weaker.
