Fisher Price Stride ‘n’ Ride Dino

Fisher Price Stride ‘n’ Ride Dino

Stride

For his first birthday, Little Man’s Nana bought him a Fisher Price Stride-to-Ride Dino.

At first, I wasn’t impressed by it because putting it together involved lots of screws, and just seemed a bit fiddly to me. But as soon as it was together, it became very steady, and I had no worries about Little Man being able to break it apart.

At the time, Little Man still couldn’t walk unsupported. So we set the Dino to stride, and away he went! Standing between Dino’s legs, he loved running across the room, pushing Dino in front of him. It gave him real freedom and confidence.

Shortly afterwards, he learned to walk, and then he wasn’t interested in pushing Dino around anymore, so we changed the legs to the Ride-on position. This was even more of a hit. He quickly learned how to climb on and off without falling.

Soon he was scooting across the room, and back again. He really loves it! Even now that he’s running, rather than just walking, he still loves to play with Dino. He presses the buttons on Dino’s head to play the music and dance along.

And sometimes, when Little Man needs a rest, Dino comes in very handy as a little seat. I think he’ll be around for a few years yet!

  1. Santa brought one of these to our house too. It’s a bit early for us to use it yet but we like to play with the buttons . 🙂 Glad to hear it’s a hit in your house! Hopefully our little guy will love it just as much.

  2. I’m sure he will Tammy! It’s a great toy – once you get it assembled!
