Bavaria Non-Alcoholic Beer
While drinking Bavaria 0.0% in a pub when I was about 28 weeks pregnant, I got some scathing looks from people. I found myself twisting the bottle around to point the label towards them. Afterwards I was wondering what on earth I was doing – as if it was any business of theirs anyway. People can be unbelievably rude.
Anyway, that little story aside, this beer was my lifesaver while pregnant. For some reason, I really missed beer. And Beck’s non-alcoholic just doesn’t cut it for me. I couldn’t handle the aftertaste of it while I was pregant. About half way through the pregnancy I discovered Bavaria 0.0%. I just loved it. No aftertaste. Lovely and light. I’d now say I prefer it to alcoholic beer. Even since the Little Man arrived, we’ve continued to keep a few bottles in the fridge. I found it great for milk supply too while I was breastfeeding. They don’t advertise that on the bottle!!
