App review: The Photo Cookbook Quick & Easy

We got a delicious new app this week – yes, delicious! Don’t believe me? Check out the photos.

“The Photo Cookbook Quick & Easy” is a cookery app that will make your mouth water. The interface works really well – you slide each column up and down to view the recipes available for each category – meat, fish, vegetarian, and desserts. When you open a recipe, it is presented in magazine format, using beautiful photographs and easy-to-follow layouts.

Each recipe starts with a listing and a photograph of the ingredients. Then as you scroll down, it takes you through each step in the recipe, explaining exactly what you should do and including a photograph of the step in action.

At the end of the screen is a large photograph of the finished product. Yummy.
